And just watch episode 70, "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 5", to see how the Autobots' volcano headquarters, and all it's defenses, were flattened by Trypticon. There would have been no hope to rebuild that headquarters even if they wanted to. However, all the Autobots who were stationed there apparently survived.

In fact, it was made so long ago that many of the voice actors and other people that had a lot to do with the show are either retired or dead. Voice actors like Chris Latta and Don Messick (who worked seasons 1 and 2, but not after that), among others have died, and John Stephenson is among many who worked this series that are retired, for all purposes. And Lee Gunther has also been dead for quite a number of years, and there are probably others as well.

  • @cjs3872 Oh, alright. It has been a long time scince I watched this. For some reason I was thinking that they rebuilt the volcano headquarters and put teletraan II there.

  • @MrMandude365

Teletraan 2 was in Autobot City, better known as Metroplex. And they never rebuilt the volcano headquarters, as it was destroyed by Trypticon, which was known as Decepticon City, though it was never called that in the series. The name Decepticon City was used only in the primer that recalled the rivalry and the battles between the two city Transformers.

  • @cjs3872 Yeah I know that. didn't they make a teletraan 2 in the rebuilt volcano headquaters or was that in autobot city?

  • @MrMandude365

Are you referring to the volcano headquarters? The series producers had it destroyed for a couple of reasons. First, there was the new Autobot City that was introduced in the movie, and named Metroplex in the "Five Faces of Darkness" mini-series, along with Teletraan 2. But another reason was that Casey Kasem, the voice of Teletran 1, quit the series due to the way Arabs were portrayed, so there was no reason to keep the volcano headquarters around.

  • @cjs3872 Yeah, but wasn't it rebuilt.

  • @delta38vader Every one execpt for brawn prowl ratchet ironhide huffer wheeljack windcharger optimus skywarp thundercracker starscreem megatron kickback bombshell shrapnle dirge ramjet and thrust and maybe shockwave survived. i don't know were some of these guys get some of these deaths from.

  • This 5-part series was far better than the movie.
