My own version of Genesis reading Loveless in case you didn't want to hear SHUT YOU in the middle of it, I did the best I could with editing considering I used Windows Movie Maker.

For those who want this audio, go to www.youtube-mp3.org and paste the URL there.

I thank DerGraf147 for the music, the audio clips of Genesis, and the idea to do this (and getting Loveless stuck in my head)! Arigatou!! ^-^

LOVELESS

Prologue
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting

Act I
Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess
We seek it thus, and take to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest

Act II
There is no hate, only joy
For you are beloved by the goddess
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds
Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh

Act III
My friend, do you fly away now?
To a world that abhors you and I?
All that awaits you is a somber morrow
No matter where the winds may blow
My friend, your desire
Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises,
Nothing shall forestall my return.

Act IV
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams, no honor remains
The arrow has left the bow of the goddess
My soul, corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
Legend shall speak
Of sacrifice at world's end
The wind sails over the water's surface
Quietly, but surely

Act V (made by Genesis)
Even if the morrow is barren of promises,
Nothing shall forestall my return.
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice

DISCLAIMER: The audio clips and music and pictures are not mine, they belong to Square Enix and Tatsuya Numora

Btw, there was a little error in the video. It says "We seek it thus, and take it to the sky" When it should be "We seek it thus, and take to the sky". ...sorry!

  • Nice ending " SUCK U ! "

  • @3d101 actually, it's "SHUT YOU!" Zack was trying to say "shut up, I'm warning you", but failed...epically.

  • why at the end of dirge of cerebus does he steal Lucrecia's body? I don't understand that bit :/

  • @gooder654 Genesis doesn't steal Lucrecia's body. Lucrecia is still where Vincent left her. Genesis steals Weiss' body. Why he does, I do not know. Weiss and Nero were seen at the end of Crisis Core picking up Genesis' body after Zack leaves him, so it might have something to do with that. Plus, Genesis calls Weiss "brother" when he takes his body. (I think)

  • whats the name of the music of the beginning

  • @ricardojklj Riku's Theme from Kingdom Hearts 2

  • Do you have in Japanese Version? OwO

  • @Sakise Agreed completely, glad it's not just me! This song alone is so emotional, and the poem with this song in the background... makes you think of everything that happens in the game... aw man...

  • @Rikusgirl1 You're correct he does call him brother. It is because Weiss is made from cells from Project G which is the same Project that made Genesis. So in effect Genesis is the older brother of sorts of Weiss and the rest of the Deepground crew.

  • 1 person missed the like button.

  • Did anyone else feel a little P.O.'d at the beginning for losing the game? =_="

  • I don't know if anyone else has seen the show 'Speed Grapher' but if you think about it and listen it goes with the song really well

  • @Rikusgirl1 they do. and he does at the end

  • @DelfinoDude It's never going to be finished. 8|

  • @khfan4life365

not at all. it makes a great bed time story, and could bring some interesting dreams.
