robynkay59: Jolene isn't making fun of anyone. Just because she has a southern accent and enjoys cooking doesn't mean she's poking fun any any celebrity chefs. If you think that, maybe you ought to figure out why you assume all Southern cooking types have to resemble Paula Deen.

I'm not an admirer of Paula Deen or her sons. I think her southern accent is highly exaggerated for the camera. Her show makes me want to throw up. I was so looking foward to eating at Paula's restaurant when I visited Savannah. It was disappointing the food was terrible and buffet style. We ordered off the menu and it still was terrible. I do however love Jolene. She is funny, down to earth and knows what being poor and on a budget is all about. She needs a show on the food channel. I'd watch!!
