love is strongest in the silence - part 8 - FINALE

wade and tess finally meet after several years. they profess their love to each other and wade proposes to tess, who says yes (obviously!). now married, tess dies happily. wade discovers that tess' death was due to damien's stupidity and holds on to the hope that an antidote may cure tess. however, she is already dead and cannot be revived. wade becomes distressed and is filled with anguish. he walks around aimlessly into the road where a car hits him. he dies in damien's arms. damien scolds himself for his stupidity and thinks that tess and wade can be together forever, in a place where their love can last forever, for love is strongest in the silence (:
