Google «YouTube JavaScript Player API Reference».
A workong script is ie : Google «youtubeamp.js» -> open link -> save to %HOME%/vimperator/plugin on Win or ~/vimperator/plugin on nix by clicking on «Download in other formats […] Original Format». Now you can do :ytpause :ytmute and so on.
Have hacked my own. I'll see if i come around to uploading it somewhere.

@laurieklaas not possible if flash has focus you must use the mouse thats the only way for now
