@Lomito Nolan said Ellen's character was based on Paprika

There are tonnes of copying conspiracies about Inception and Paprika, and even though they have the same basis and even extremely similar scenes, I think it's safe to say it's probably just a coincidence and they're both great films in their own right.
This was cool, btw.

@zonkiethegreat Actually I thought it was the other way around. :D (I'll rewatch Paprika , though, to make sure.)

The only time I wasn't disappointed, with an anime's usual inane structure, was with the first season of Gunslinger Girl, and then that headed back to shit in the second season when they lost funding...and brains.

@gregtestagent Well that is untrue, have you ever seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? It did a perfect job on "showing a story". Also, It can surpass the majority of American film very easily.

One thing I like better about Paprika is that the setting of the dreams just change (it is what happened in my dreams, at less) and don't have to have some machines to change the setting even when they're already inside the dream because dreams are more or less supposed to be random. it is here that the whole Inception movie become unrealistic, and failed.

@DreVercetti According to some dude that attended to a Q&A with Nolan and del Toro, Nolan was questioned if he has seen Paprika and he said no.
-
@Lomito actually Nolan makes it pretty clear that Paprika was a major influence for Inception

I loved both movies. The funny part is that "Paprika" made more sense, and seemed even more realistic then Inception! LOL
