Akuma (Gouki in Japan) is one of the more popular characters in the Street Fighter series. His first appearance in the series was in one of the various Street Fighter II games, Super Street Fighter II Turbo. The kanji 'ten' character (天) - meaning "sky", "heaven", or "providence" - can be seen on the back of his gi. Capcom has stated that this symbol was meant to represent "immortality".
In the Street Fighter Alpha series, there is a selectable version of Ryu called Evil Ryu, known in Japan as Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ryū (殺意の波動に目覚めたリュウ, Satsui no Hadou ni Mezameta Ryū? literally "The surge of murderous intent awakened in Ryu"). He was originally introduced in the Street Fighter Zero manga series authored by Masahiko Nakahira, and later adapted in the Street Fighter canon by Capcom. He is the version of Ryu should he succumb to Satsui no Hadou, and depicts Ryu's struggle to resist the urge. Gameplay-wise, Evil Ryu has more powerful attacks than the original, strikes faster and possesses some of the attacks of Akuma (such as the Shun Goku Satsu).
Chun-Li is known for her speed and aerial attacks. Her signature move is the Hyakuretsu Kyaku, a flurry of vicious kicks which are performed while standing on one leg. Its easy accessibility (rapidly pressing a kick button) has become a staple in many games. For her Spinning Bird Kick, Chun-Li spins through the air while kicking in a propeller motion. Chun-Li can also leap off nearby walls; while performing a wall jump, she is able to backflip and stomp on her opponent's head.
Sakura (春日野 さくら , Kasugano Sakura?) is a character in the Street Fighter games. She is a 16-year-old (as of Street Fighter Alpha 3) Japanese schoolgirl who has an intense fascination with Ryu. She has managed to copy and learn some of Ryu's techniques, but really wants him to train her personally.
Sakura Kasugano typically fights in her school uniform, a short-skirted sailor fuku (seifuku) with the collar popped and red bloomers underneath. She wears a red top under her uniform, sparring gloves, a white headband and a pair of red sneakers.
Jill Valentine is a character in the Resident Evil series of survival horror games. She is one of the protagonists in the original Resident Evil, where she is introduced as a member of the Special Tactics And Rescue Service, part of the unit's Alpha Team. She is in charge of rear security and specializes in bomb disposal (an ability she acquired as a Delta Force operative). She returned as the protagonist in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, where she was no longer a member of S.T.A.R.S., merely a citizen trying to survive the viral outbreak in Raccoon City. She has been played by Inezh in the original Resident Evil, Catherine Disher in Resident Evil 3, Heidi Anderson in the GameCube version of the original game, and Tara Platt in Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii, and was motion captured and voiced by Patrica Ja Lee in Resident Evil 5. She is one of the most prominent characters in the franchise, appearing in other Capcom games in the form of a cameo or a crossover appearance.
