Jilliann is a beautiful little girl with: (HLHS-Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, DORV -Double outlet right ventricle, and mitral atresia varient) She has had the norwood procedure and bi-directional glen surgeries-Open heart)She was also born with a Cleft Palate s/p repair, Gastroesophageal reflux and feeding intolerance s/p nissen fundoplication and g-j tube placement, right thalamic stroke, mild left hemiparesis due to stroke, Hx. of acute symptomatic seizures at time of stroke and shortly after stroke, and global developmental delays with prominent impaired language development - who, if you did not know her diagnosisis, appears to be a perfectly healthy child, happy, and thriving in her world of loved ones. I thank God every day for the blessing she is to us, she is our HERO, the greatest fighter we know.

So we have the official dates of Jilliann's next open heart
surgery:
October 25th, Mon. will be pretesting at CHOP
26TH, Tue. will be the heart cath.
27th, Wed. will be the Fontan completion
I was prepared for this ahead of time, BUT... wow does it hit
hard when it becomes a reality!!! I have a lump in my throat, a pit
in my stomach making me nausiated, I am trembling... No tears
yet!
I think this is how we all feel, even when we have Faith in God!
