All you need to know about getting a stable version of Mobile Terminal.
1) Google search "Mobile Terminal".
2) Select first link.
3) Click "Installation" located on the bottom left side of page.
4) Add their repository to Cydia
5) Search for Mobile Terminal and instal their version
6) ???

if you have iFunBox and want a simpler way. Get your .deb file and open Cydia App Install in iFunBox and drag and drop. after that reboot device 2 times.
1st reboot- Installs the app but you cant use it
2nd reboot- Allows you to use the app.
ENJOY :D

Can you do this from ifile
Thanks! Very useful. FYI, you don't actually need MobileTerminal, you can ssh in to the phone from a Mac or PC on the same local network. On a Mac OS X, you can use the Terminal.app in your Utilities folder. I don't think Windows comes with anything out of the box, but there are some freely available terminal programs with ssh (cygwin is one that I know of). Just open a terminal and type "ssh root@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" with xxx... being the local IP address, then the passwd, then cd /var/mobile
