  • Some song writers/composers have only one emotion to express, and in my opinion that has its merits too, but this album has it all. Hannon is a master of emotional description, musically and lyrically. Stunning.

  • This man hasn't put out a bad album yet, that's pretty spectacular. There are some that I like less, but not one is bad. Neil Hannon is a craftsman. So talented.

  • Brilliant song from a fantastic album

  • @Kopmeister7 HUH?, I THINK ITS HIS BEST EVER.

  • Stunning. Sad. Makes this man teary.

  • genius x

  • @Kopmeister7: A beautiful song indeed, but I think more songs on the new album can compete with the best. Bang goes the Knighthood and At the Indie Disco are maybe a bit more youthful, but still great songs to listen to. My favourite is even the lighthearted I Like.

  • Along with Down In The Street Below this is the best song from the new album, and perhaps the only two that are worthy of comparison with his best (Tonight We Fly, Our Mutual Friend, Sunrise, Commuter Love, Lady Of A Certain Age, etc.)
