I would like to claryfy you shouldn't be so mean about mark becker look what he did was not okay but he had a thing wear he here's voices from the devil that tell him to do bad stuff so half of the time he can't control himself so back off btw live in parkersburg
-
live in parkersburg that was a devastating day

To you disgusting people who think you are benefiting anyone with your hatred towards Becker, realize that filling your heart with resentment and hatred won't help anything or anyone. You may not forgive him for what he did, but I guarantee Ed has, the Thomas family has, and God has. This is a tragedy, but it's not something that will condemn him to hell, especially with such an amazing man pulling for him up there. Grow up people.

@jtal00007 Please do not be rude. Mr. Becker is an ill human being. He deserves to get better. Don't you think that was what Coach Tomas would Have wanted.
-
That kid deserves the fucking firing squad for what he did to that coach!!!
-
I'm not going to resort to hate...Instead I'll use Ed's example as motivation in my own coaching career, which will in turn, positively affect the lives of thousands more young men that I'll coach for the next 40 some years. There are ways we can all pull blessings from Coach Thomas' death.

I really think he was a good man. I live in Iowa.... I didnt know him but now im closer then ever
-
how can you say he got "pwned" i may be just 12 but when i met him after the tornado he was my hero he was a very nice man RIP
-
Your right. I posted this when I was mad, and I didn't mean it. Ed's in a better place now. It's just really low what he did. Killing a coach who just got his team back up after a big tornado. He was Heroic.

hey man, i didn't like what happened either, but there is no reason to be saying anything like that
ed thomas was not a jerk to any body he treated his stars and benchwarmers the same. he was very good. Our football team played them and they killed us and not litterly i shoudn't say kill but the destroyed us. O this is a terrible loss. 7:45 surveys the weight room 7:46 pulls out gun out of car. 7:47 shoot Ed thomas 8 times and runs to parents house sits in car. arrested sometime between then and 9:00. wow. He was one of the best coaches in iowa history.

He was the coach of one of our Green Bay Packer linesmen. Aaron said the Ed's greatest legacy will be that Ed was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ on and off the field.
I think is terribly sad that all the news can report is the celebrity stuff but hide away stories of people like Ed Thomas.
