why is vectorman considered so hard by people? I'm a subpar gamer, and yet I can beat it on Insanity with a bit of effort

I never really got past the first level in the game, but I loved doing the minigame at the SEGA logo where you were supposed to catch like 100 characters that fell from the the :)

The title screen used to amaze me as a kid.
Imagine my reaction seeing a PS1 opening FMV for the first time <_<

Don't worry mate, you are among Vectorman players. Level 14 gave me the most trouble. I used to be up all night playing this when I was a wee lad. Good times.

Vectorman looks like hes made of peas,
its actualy green metal "orbs". The fact that they are made of metal orbs gave them the name "Orbots".

Hes sliding because the future is surpossed to be clean, makes the floor a little slippery, although the world is polluted at the time.

I was afraid of this game and did'nt play it for a few years because I had a thunderstorm fear back then. I remember
being at the game store with my parents looking for a game with no storm present.

To be honest, I wouldn't call it the best game ever. There are alot of cheap hits, mainly those freaking wasps, and how hard it is to see what's below you. But it's definetly one of the best on the Sega Genesis.

Yeah, Vectorman was, and still is, an underrated classic. Almost no one knows about it.
Did you know they were going to make a Vectorman game for the PS2? But, it was scrapped.
