So what part of the government does this guy work for? Is someone keeping tabs on this boy?

@Stidmatt1 Last summer was much colder than the ones preceding it. And this spring is freaking cold here in San Diego.

Total crap. But even if it were true that the rest of us won't see a tax hike we are concerned. We know that a tax hike on the "rich" will effect those of us who work for them. We will pay higher prices on goods and services and higher taxes on the rich will not help the economy but will in fact hurt the economy. This guy is retarded or a liar. Or both.
-
@Stidmatt1" Look at the debt and the biggest debt growth periods were under St. Reagan and MR. Bush". You do understand that the nation is 14 trillion dollars in debt and that about half of all Americans pay federal income taxes? When EVER has the nation had so much debt? And we're still spending. When will debt be too much for you? 20 trillion? 30 trillion? Keep on spending our childrens future , but only look to the 80's?? The future is whats yet to come not 30 years ago. Wake Up.!

Hey Shit head. The country is 14 trillion dollars in debt. Avoid the topic all you want, but 14 trillion dollars is not going to tiptoe out of the room secretly. Who do you think is going to pay for this?!!? We are living WAY beyond our means, which means we will have to live BELOW our means in the future to right the ship. This is the future Obama's policies are creating.

@TheCrashdawg America's education in economics taught them that supply and demand is fake. Wait, I had to go onto college as an elective to learn that supply and demand is the governing force of economics. Americans are not educated in the ways of the world. Even Bush's adviser Mankiw is in favor of stimulus bills, just not in the form it was in.
-
@ninuxy True. And King John taxes make the wealth skewed.

@MisterAvis Climate change is not just all going up, it is going in both directions, colder winters, and warmer summers. This summer is going to be blistering. Far less than 100% of taxes go to debt. Look at the debt and the biggest debt growth periods were under St. Reagan and MR. Bush. We still learn about Christmas in school. Gas tax makes less money go to terrorist-supporting oil companies. What are you thinking?

Thanks to Republicans' pro-big business policies, the rich have gotten richer and the poor have gotten poorer. Gotta love that "American Dream".
FreeTires, The fact is, if you were not born rich, odds are very good you will never be rich. No matter how many pull yourself up by your own bootstraps stories republicans like to tell.

When it shall be said in any country in the world, my poor are happy; neither ignorance nor distress is to be found among them; my jails are empty of prisoners, my streets of beggars; the aged are not in want, the taxes are not oppressive; the rational world is my friend, because I am the friend of its happiness: when these things can be said, then may that country boast its constitution and its government.
