This is probably the most informative post ever witnessed on YouTube. There's not a trace of brain damage to be found.

According to this BBC DVD series I have called "The planets". Earth being one of them. That jump from the balloon was done from 60,000 feet. Not yet outside the atmosphere but high enough to be considered outer space considering man needs a space suit to exist there. He had a camera on his helmet and a microphone. It was so cool. He said at first he felt no sensation of falling at all. Then he looked up at the balloon and saw it speeding away from him. He said it was very surreal.

Awesome Video!, boards of canada is quite GREAT.
The footage in the first half of the video is from real footage of the highest descent ever recorded from the edge of space by Joseph Kittinger in 1960, skydiving from a height of 102,800 feet in a space suit. With complications on the way down, he was convinced he had not survived the jump and hallucinated falling through hell.

The fastest human ever! He fell at over 900mph! The speed of sound because the air was so thin. He could only open his shute after the atmosphere slowed him down enough. Took him nearly fifteen minetes before he touched down. The tune fits this so well my favorite video! awesome!
