  • does this work on imovie/mac?

    thank you for your time

  • @skater247247 Yes. In fact, I did one of my class projects with this cam and used iMovie to edit it. I don't know if a mac would read the video files right away - it may need the approprate drivers.

  • Is that a plane (sound) at 0:18? It sounds kind of like a C-130...

  • @WVBoy25401 *googles c-130* maybe, this is san diego so you'd probably find military vehicles like that. but that looks way too old to fly

  • would you recommend that i purchase this camera? ive been looking into starting a vlog and making music videos and such... is it any good? thanks for the video btw, very helpful...

  • @tomrich553 sure as long as you can edit .mts/m2ts files it makes. it also captures in .mpg but see my previous post about that. it's awesome and i do recommend it

  • They fly in Kentucky almost every day!

  • @pyrael2001 Wow thanks! Great camera.

  • I used standard mode to make a presentation video which makes .mpg files - but they're of a higher codec or something. I had to convert them to edit my videos on imovie09. Haven't tried it on adobe premiere yet in either HD/STD - hd takes .mts and m2ts files.

If by start up time you mean how long does it take to turn it on and be ready to operate, then it's =<1second - yes.
