I wasn't sure what to do with the shallots I bought so I placed it on a container and it's growing! My lemon grass that I also bought, I tried to have it grow roots on me and it worked. Plus, growing apples from a seed here in South Florida.

  • Poor onions. How would you like someone to stick toothpicks in you? :)

  • @paullie6719 LOL! Good thing I don't grow leaves or bulbs. ^^

  • thanks for posting these videos.

before when i was planting things i would just follow whatever directions for germinating seeds. but now, from your videos, i see its best to try different ways. no one seems like an expert at this and there is lots of contradicting information.

good luck on your apple trees!

i wonder if you could try growing a coconut tree? there are a few coconut farms in florida, just seems like an interesting addition, maybe next to your banana tree if you have space.

  • @Compn1 Thanks for watching my videos! It's always fun trying out different ways especially when someone tells me there's only 1 way to do it. I will try something with a coconut, thanks for the suggestion. :)

  • Great vid!! I wish I lived in florida so I could grow more tropical plants outside!!

  • @irishfan84n You can always try to grow things no matter where you are. :) Good luck!

  • @luvintherawlife That's the idea of it, I believe. Since apples are cold-hardy.

  • You just need to chill for the crops.

  • I wonder if you can do the same with garlic. Or even potatoes. I wonder. =) This is great! Thanks!

  • very interesting way of growing, many people do have different results so always good to try exactly what you are doing.. how fun!
