On the night of April 23rd I filmed the Moon from my backyard through an 8-inch telescope. The shadows were fantastic! The atmosphere was a little bumpy, caused by heat waves from the Earth, but the views were still awesome! The coyote call in the beginning is from iTunes, but the owl was actually on the video track!

That's tough to say. I was using the zoom on the video camera, so I can't say for certain what the magnification was.

Awesome video, it just hit me when I watched this that there's a huge rock moving slowly above our heads. It's something I take for granted, it's just the moon... then upon closer inspection you can see the sheer power of the cosmos... just amazing :)
