I was just wondering why this story never came up in mid '80s or even early '90s. Like someone said, as soon as Barry crowned Osupa as "Oba Orin", all hell was let loose about who created Fuji or not. Barry (RIP) had called himself Fuji creator in his albums before all this mess started, and not even Kollington or Wasiu raised an objection until now.

@omoitire No doubt, Wasiu is better than Abass (that's debatable depending on some people's Fuji style preference), we shouldn't even be comparing them; but my point still remains. Obesere has no reason to have a headache regarding Wasiu, it's actually the opposite. Obesere suppose to regard Wasiu as is senior not his mate, but he currently regards him as his Imunle (mate, covenant.) literally means they 'drink the earth.' together. He is claiming that he can only respect Barry and Kola.
