u c, when the war began the Ethiopian gov, kicked out the Eritrean people so as a result the people that came from Ethiopia brought some of the Ethiopian cultures to Eritrea so its often in wedding u c Amharic music being played

Don't forget there are Eritreans who grow up and migrated from Ethiopian due to mistreatment by the current government. As everyone, they are nostalgic to the culture they grew up with.
