1.4.2.1 Use of directly observed therapy (DOT) is not usually necessary in the management of most cases of active TB.
All patients should have a risk assessment for adherence to treatment, and DOT should be considered for patients who have adverse factors on their risk assessment, in particular:
Street- or shelter-dwelling homeless people with active TB
Patients with likely poor adherence, in particular those who have a history of non-adherence. [2006] (NICE 2011)
@oatstao I heard of something similar happening to Dr Max Gerson, who was said to have found a cure for cancer using dietary and other changes. But I found only very vague information online surrounding his death, which I guess makes sense.
Look up Dr.Rife for a revealing aspect of science, and how he found out how to destroy TB and it's resulting virus that emerges if the Rod shaped 1st stage organism is eliminated. He did not use drugs, he used Mortal oscillating frequencies - and was killed because of his stunning work.
if a skin test is positive for TB does the result need to be reported? Or does an Xray nee to be completed and then the result will be reported if positive??? Also what if the skin test result is super super bumpy and red?
Thank you, this helped
