26-01-07 Topic Two: Lessons In Britishness

Children in English schools - not Welsh, Scottish or Irish it seems, are to be given lessons in what it means to be British. Now in more than six years of doing this show the one thing I know is no one ever agrees on what being British means. So are citizenship classes what we need - why not simply make history compulsory to GCSE level instead? (Todays Panel: Sarah Cawood & George Galloway MP with special guest: Sheree Murphy)

More destruction of British identity which incorporates English, Scots and Welsch. When people talk only about the negative and downplay the positive thats the language of traitors. All cultures have done similar things throughout history, from Muslims to Chinese. Its more to do with forces in human nature. When these left-wing people talk about history, they mean to undermine British identity, which is really an attack on a individuals identity.
