Most hard drives today are 3.5 and 2.5 inch these older drives that were bulk storage only often exceded 5.25inch. The largest to ever be produced has 26inch platters. The largest that I have seen and handled in person was 14inch IBM winchester that was only 30gb but that was a drive that was made in the early 70s. My school had a UNIVAC once.

  • omg!! that is the heaven for a computer lover!!!!....i love it.. :D

  • No IBM can't but u can special order external hard drive with 1000 Tera bites but then the name changes from hard drive to major server which can cost millions and is the size of a house haha and relly 1000 Tera bites is way to fukin much haha I don't use hard drives USB is muchhhhhhhhhhhhh safer

  • 1:57 lol ... anyone believes that IBM had 1,2 GB of data at all to use this harddisk in 1984? normal PCs at this time comes with 20MB. Todays PCs comes with 1TB. So, can IBM give me a 60TB (1,2GB / 20MB = 60) Harddisk today?

  • you could tear apart the huge grey one and use for massive gaming system lmao

  • wtf the hard disk looks like a gearbox lool

  • 1:40 this must be the Abe Lincoln special.
