What kind of wood did you use? And did you know if it was untreated? It's a really great idea, and I have all the tools for it, I just want to know if it is 100% bird safe.

is the store bought lumber safe from chemicals etc? I usually use natural wood from trees cut from people's yards that I know don't use any pesticides etc. What do you do to avoid any poisoning issues?
