Hey Mate I'm having trouble getting the right mix for my rocket engines they either become smoke bombs or explosives I use kno3 and Icing sugar but cant seem to get the mix right could you help

@Blackdog2487 make sure your kno3 is in a fine powder (if not use a coffee grinder to make it powdered), mix 11 grams of sugar to 20 grams of kno3 (just keep it close to a 1:2 ratio), now make sure your clay nozzle and end caps are thick enough and you have the right drill size (might have to expiriment but use best judgement), mine exploded too, what it was is i drilled all the way to the end near the end cap what you get is too fast of a combustion that the cap can handle, drill less deep!
