@Identityis yep, your right, *nerd moment* S foils on most *wing* type star fighters that came after the X-wing had S foils to optomise both speed and damage into seperate modes making X-wings superior to tie-fighter in allmost every way, in fact, X-wings were developed by the fresians as a replacement the tie-fighter, but jusrt before the deal was finalised, the friesians switched sides and gave the X-wings to the rebellion...*nerd moment over*

Do uo all think there will be further changes for the 3D release? I hope they touch up this battle like the fan made one called Battle of Yavin re-visited.That looked so much better!

I was wondering. The Rebels only had 30 ships while the death star would have thousands of Tie fighters. Why did the empire send only a few handful of fighters?
