  • Good to hear this music! I learned the first tune from Geraldine Picco [Red Island, Nfld.], Dave Panting learned it from me and called it "Nfld. Spring" and spread it around the world through the band Figgy Duff. I still play a few other tunes by Geraldine..anyhow, that's where it comes from...[Placentia Bay]..
