If there was a 'Big Bang', then, according to Roger Penrose, the singularity would have had to have been be a highly complex geometrical order, beyond our comprehension. [2nd Law of thermodynamics]. How Lao-tsu and Buddha saw this 2500 years ago is beyond me.To sense this , before we had science, indicates that they had an insight into the very nature of Reality.
