True indeed, Shikakai does have a low ph, but, Dr.Bronners has a ph of 9, which is too harsh for delicate black hair which should be between 4-5

it looks like tamarindo

@Kinkycurlyhair Thank you, I know I am late but this is a pump with liquid so you don't have to mix it. I bought from the university convenience store but probably any health store because it's USDA organic.

@ranalova I'm not sure it's from the audioswap list on youtube because I forgot to add it when I made the video lol sorry

@CCshinez Yes, I am using it to deep condition. But the Shikakai's astringent properties will still cleanse. My scalp feels very clean afterward. It takes care of any product buildup that I may have had.

@ayanamaralice oohh that sounds nice. Deep condition and clean at once mama likes! Lol I will have to research and try this. Thank you so much for sharing that =)

Very informative thanks! I use the powdered Shikakai with yogurt, honey, and Dabur Vatika oil (you can get the SHikakai and Vatika Oil at Lakshmi's Cupboard - an online store- if they don't sell it locally).

@ayanamaralice Thank you for the tip. How is the yogurt? I use Shikakai to wash my hair when you use it with yogurt is a conditioner type of treatment?

LOOOOOVE THIS!!! I've been a Dr. Bonner's addict and even though that's SO not what attracted me to this video (I'm also a natural hair care herb addict), I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR THEY HAVE A SHIKAKAI SOAP! I could kiss you!
