@flemmong Uhm no you NEVER do that. That's probably what made this dog so scared.

Positive training is the way to go. My dog was abused and he is scared of many things but hes getting better with clicker training. It's a step by step process and it can't be fixed by shoving a dog down on the fucking ground. This is why dogs are so scared; people abuse them when they think they are training them.

I suggest leaving the dog alone next time... Possibly see a vet for medicine. My dog was abused and have small growling fits because he gets scared, but damn, this is really bad.

Do you have kids? Small dogs find children, with their unpredictable moves and awkward movements, very disturbing. This dog feels threatened.
