  • I never really noticed this until now, but in the open you can see the names of all the other G-T shows on the letter board

  • Thanks for posting this! I never saw this game show before. Then again, this aired in 1974 and I was either still 3 years old or I was already 4. Old school game shows were the best!

  • @TheMidknightryder13 This version of the game is harder than the '89 version for that very reason. With the spacing between the letters (to accommodate the letter tiles) you have to actually look for the words whereas with the '89 CG version they just stand out to you at glance

  • @uwtitanfan Not ALL of them -- but certainly enough to get the joke. I noticed during the original run and thought at the time, it was one of the best inside jokes I had ever seen.

Now, I realize that with the advances in electronics it is unecessary to actually MAKE a 'big board' like this, but I think we lose something having everything done virtually.

  • @wisp2007 - This had to be recorded from the run on GSN when it was airing 1am M-F back in 2008/09.

  • This show should've lasted much longer than it did. But when they jacked with the format too much, it ruined the show.

  • Wait a second, I thought this show wasn't being seen on GSN anymore.

  • @uwtitanfan - I just noticed that, too. That's awesome. Folks, can you spot them for the $17,000 jackpot?! Use your electronic stylus and circle the words :).

  • It should be noticed the bank grew until it reached $25,000 since that was CBS's maximum number for champions.

  • I was 3 years old when this aired!
