Saw this when it first aired. Im just glad they were able to film the ghost pilots before they got free again! :) Thanks so much for posting it was fantastic to watch this again.

Thanks for posting this... we were just discussing this movie on another forum and I just found it here.
Most every comment I've read so far has been typical... "I saw this movie 30-40 years ago and it stayed with me all these years".

Your welcome mate, glad you enjoyed it still after all that time, i was the same as you, not seen it for about 35yrs myself until i managed to find a copy.
Don't think it has ever been shown in all those yrs for some reason, always always stayed in my mind, and i was determined to find it.

There is indeed a substantial portion of the movie missing between your parts 7 and 8. . . about 17 minutes worth that show some key scenes in the film. The actual fate of the dead crew and Hamner's guilt is revealed to the Air Force investigators in these climactic scenes.
I taped this movie from a cable channel back in the 80s and still have it---one of my favorites!

I'm interested to know THE BEST PART, as i said above hardly any is missing and it shouldn't take away any of the enjoyment or plot of the film.
Your welcome to spend a few hours yourself uploading the film, i had quite a few problems uploading this film for the enjoyment of MOST people.
