This is the first Final Fantasy concert in Indonesia. Tribute for Nobuo Uematsu (he was invited, but did not come).

I was there to see the live concert. It was then broadcasted on TV several days later

This Part contains songs:
Behind The Door (FFIX Ending)
Tifa's Theme

  • I miss ff9 :)

  • ...Indonesia? awesome.

  • @Duosenpai exactly what i was thinking of... lack of dynamics and tempo is slightly to fast.

  • great one, thx

  • didn't like Tifa's Theme... lack of emotion... it sounded like she just wanted to finish the song...

  • @mogmanexe I think its actually called 'soloists interpretation'

  • Nobou Uematsu left square enix because they changed locations and he didnt want to commute two plus hours just to go to work so he resigned but still collaberates with them on occasion

  • GREAT music

  • While Behind the Door was well played... I've gotta say the pianists interpretation of Tifa's theme was a bit lackluster... she almost sounded like she had to pull back on her emotion sometimes because she didn't know the song perfectly. Also, Gawdy outfit is gawdy.

  • @Calheb

The 2 themes give a pretty different feeling, IMO (just like the 2 girls are different from each other... and have a different destiny... Tifa's theme sounds sweet and melancholic... like a sad unrequited love song *that's why this theme is perfect for piano... or for jazz maybe*... and Aerith's theme conveys the character's bright personality, the strong will, the tragedy but also the hope). Love them both.
