  • my c172 Vx is 63 kias, Vy is 74 kias

  • Your correct. Except Vx is actually 68 or 69 knots depending on the model and weight. But very true about the 150 as well

  • not so man

when i do a takeoff in my 150 for obstacle clearance i climb at 58 mph (thats not even knots). In the 172 Vx is around 65 kts (Cant remember it exactly) isnt it?

  • Anyone catch the airspeed? 60 knts. c'mon even in a cessna that's pushing the stall speed.
