The Art of Robert Gaudreau
©"Something About Books"
Everyone can relate to books, a stepping stone for the novice, and for the experienced, a personal
reflection to their references. From every generation from birth, one can identify with a book. Which may go without saying how important the development to achievement can be.
My intent and purpose of this series of paintings is to present an instant recognition
with certain understanding for abstract art viewed by anyone,
through this Abstract of Impulse Expressionism.
In this series of 30(+) paintings. I have created and dedicated
my inspiration to the importance of education.
An abstraction in education, an exhibit that hints from "1 Book" to "43 Books".
The fate to the future for the book, will it survive the digital world?
Some whimsical paintings suggest the fun in learning.
Some paintings super imposed suggest the weight and hefty informative content.
Some paintings suggest the arrangement and placement of references for the established professional, such as lawyers etc.
"An abstraction of images that references to the book bindings, pages and coloration while not to reveal the contents of any book, left to the imagination of the viewer."
