This movie shows a computer simulation of the evolution of a cosmic region about 60 million light years across. The movie starts shortly after the Big bang and continues to the present day. The bright condensations mark where galaxies the size of our own will form. Under the influence of gravity dark matter clusters into filaments, the so called "Cosmic Web". Every second corresponds to 500 million years. Credits; Fabio Governato and the N-Body Shop, University of washingon, Seattle, WA.
