CO: How to Get Out of the Military thru Conscientious Object

As a former Air Force police officer, Jason Munford has had to use bodily force to bring a peaceful resolution to some violent events. But it was the death of a seven-year-old Iraqi girl that became the "crystallization" of his conscientious objection to serving in Iraq.

Munford told a story about a friend, stationed in Iraq, who had been ordered to use a vehicle-mounted machine gun on an unresponsive civilian car. The car was later revealed to contain a seven-year-old Iraqi girl, killed by a soldier's bullets.

Not wanting to be put in the same position as his friend, to be ordered to fire on Baghdad motorists, Munford submitted a letter of intent to become a conscientious objector (CO).

KILL: To lie in wait and commit premeditated homocide (actual interpretation from the original language) ... doesn't mean you can't "kill" to defend yourself or country or to feed yourself. Although ALL these wars we are involved in today do not meet the "just war" rules set forth in the Bible. We're not to meddle in other's affairs or get involved in nation building.

I take it you're not even in the military or have ever served.By that logic you have single handedly spat in the face of two of the most honored Generals in U.S. history 1: Major General Smedly Butler recipient of two congressional medals of honor and Author of the book "War is a Racket" you should probably read it. First.... its thou shall not murder. Using the catholic religion to hide from not killing the enemy is not a good excuse. Maybe you should look up the crusades, and the Spanish Inquisition and many other wars that the catholic church waged. Second, If you don't want to go to war don't go into the military during an active war and say "well i joined but i don't want to do my job". The enemy doesn't care about conscious objectors, they will kill you just the same.

Too many pussy's running around joining the military looking for a husband, couldn't do crap in the civilian world, some random liberal who joined for "COLLEGE' and that is it.
