An attempt by McCain to look like he's in charge.But, sounds pretty ironic for a guy who a week ago was saying the fundamentals of the economy r strong to now be saying the country cant survive without him chairing an immediate bailout negotiation b4 markets open on Monday.
Sorry, I just dont see too many people buying that line. Its also ironic considerin this is the guy who not long ago said he doesn't understand the economy and now afraid to go up against Obama in a debate. McCain=Empty Suit

I am a former republican too, and definitely not happy with McCain's selection of his VP. She is NOT qualified to be our next VP. He could have picked Mitt Romney or the governor of Mennesota, who are so qualified.
And I have lost a great respect for senator McCain, and this will be the first time I am crossing parties and vote for Obama.
