@Kehopkin However, it wouldn't be something that I would want to risk. What if it presented itself in the form of something dangerous? I'd rather catch something before it causes problems. Anyway, that's why I love living in Canada. I've had a ultrasounds done before. Both times, I just called and had an appointment the next day. Totally free.

@TEATINE1 Then it would have presented itself. Your not risking anything because like I said most Drs will not even see you until 13 weeks, you can't force then to give you an untrasounds and you don't want unnessassary ultra sounds there expensive and technically there really isn't a lot medically going on until then unless you are consider high risk.

@Kehopkin I actually find that very concerning. If you waited until 13 weeks to have your first ultrasound, you could be risking so many complications. What if the pregnancy was ectopic (outside of the uterus)? By week 13, you could have ruptured a fallopian tube or suffered other complications.

@panglinda I know, a little bit unrealistic. When they see two "spots" when you go for your 7 week ultrasound, you know you're having twins. Brooke looks more like 25 weeks.
