@gmm06f Actually, the first SI op-ed ("Why the University of Miami Should Drop Football") was published 16 years ago (06/12/1995) . . . which led to orange and green t-shirts reading "Why Sports Illustrated Should Drop Dead". By the way, when was the last time a university DIDN'T seek donations (or, to use your terminology, "handouts") for its academic or athletic programs? How the hell do you think the U. of Texas acquired an endowment of $14 billion? It's called fund-raising, you moron.

"World Famous" That is a joke right? Haha look at the typical scUM fan waving his arm back and forth like he's a wanna be thug. I'm sure that guy is in prison right now. Looking at the crowd size I'm sure that was the last time they had a relevant team. SI was right 20+ years ago "Miami should get rid of their Football program." They are a joke, and will never be relevant because of their terrible fan base. That is why they are always looking for handouts aka Lil Luke.
