Sound Class - weirdest instrument ever

This instrument was made by Theremin- basically the sound changes when something approaches the metal bar, and the other thing is to control volume!
Strangest instrument i've ever seen and we played it in class!
It makes me think of those poltergeist movies, with the weird sounds hehe

Yes, the correct spelling is "Theremin" not Termen. It's sound was used as sound effects in movies in 50s

theres a free virtual theremin (vst) called super spook keys out there. pretty cool!
