  • @PsykoWaffle to be honest I had a shoulder reduction at the hopsital and it cost around 7000 USD, I have good insurance but still, premiums go up with multiple visit to the hospital so now I just pop it back in place myself..

  • @MrJamest120 I guess some people dont understand the purpose of a hospital.

  • @frmertd less than 9 yrs: likely a fracture too. 9-12 : grey zone, may or not be fractured, >12 yrs likely only dislocated.

  • no, a 13 yr old is likely skeletally mature. 9 or below is what I'd consider skelatally immature(meaning the bones haven't completely ossified.).

  • @frmertd really ....well does a 13yr old count as a kid lol my friend dislocated hers in netball today we had to call a ambulance so hers will be broke after ... right rofl ?

  • with pediatric pts there is almost always a fracture there, with teenagers and adults, likely not. This is bcz childrens bones are soft and a force great enough to dislocate it, likely fractured their soft bone. Adults/teenagers' bones are harder and so it dislocates before it breaks (where children break , then dislocate).

This is important bcz you may get a peds with this and try to reduce it without ortho, it's likely fractured too! (so get ortho)

  • thank you my little sister elbow was dislocated and i whent all over you tube to find a video to tell me how to put it back in i could not find any untill i saw this video it help me to pop her elbow back in so thank you
