thank god that corrupt judging system was changed recently. Pity John did not live to see it happen....

It's still corrupt. Examine what happened at the men's event at US Nationals this year. ONE person and ONE person alone, a technical specialist, determines what maneuver the skater completed. Each judge can therefore give bonus marks on the grade of execution. They award the skater THEY like with a higher GOE, even if the move the skater did sucked.
