This video shows some new features in Hugin that were developed in last year's Google Summer of Code (GSoC). First we take a quick look in to the new panorama layout model in the form of image stacks.
Stacks are images that should have the same orientation, but they don't have to. In this case they have the same orientation so we don't have to align images within the stacks.
Second feature is masking to aid panorama blending. Two kinds of masks are provided: exclusive and inclusive. Exclusive mask removes specified parts from single images and inclusive mask forces the blender to use a masked part of image in the final panorama. In this case both types of masks are used.
The raw converter used (and visible in the beginning of the video) was Raw Therapee, open source since v3.0.
Pretty nice vid. Wich program did u use to see the spherical image? Is there something free to embed in web pages?

@piteur I used GLpanoview, then there's Panini panoviewer and FSPviewer, they're both faster but don't have this smoothness in movements as GLpanoview does. PTviewer is free java applet for web viewing and there's various web sites which allow you display your spherical panoramas such as 360cities or view.at.
