A short film made by Charles & Ray Eames of their house, Case Study House #8, after five years of living in it. You can find out more about the house and the Eameses at the Eames Foundation website. http://eamesfoundation.org/
originally titled "House: After Five Years of Living", it's akin to a controlled slide show but it was the classic format of the Eames films. with the format they would like you to observe the contrast of light and shade, line and color, machine accessories and folk art, etc.
"[The film's] formal method underscored the importance of the house's frame in organizing disparate elements into a coherent whole" -- Eamonn Canniffe on Eames House.
thank you for posting this priceless film.

very artsy, very 50s music. a slide show, actually, not a film. the house is very modern and not that dated though. thanks for sharing.
