New Hampshire icon Fritz Wetherbee explores some of the small towns of the Granite State in this 1990's show produced by NH Public Television. Fritz uses his storytelling talents to show us some of the local points of interest. We also meet some interesting locals! In this segment we visit Surry, Marlow, Alstead, Jaffrey ,New Boston and Francestown, and see such points of interest such as monkey rock, Willa Cathers grave, several statues, and an old time general store. Happy Motoring!

  • The first time I watched Just Up the Road it was a special on WENH and the year was 1988. Shortly after the show was on there were 2 guys on WFEA radio in Manchester one parodied Fritz the other was whomever "Fritz" was interviewing.

it was called "Down My Street and Up Yours."
