Steph answers questions from Aurora.
She asks:
I have PCOS and my cycles are irregular. In using ovulation predictor strips, how am I to go about determining where I am at in my cycle?
Besides Metformin, what are some of the best methods in which to regulate periods?

  • Traditional: Progesterone to bring on cycle, Femara or Clomid to ovulate.

Herbal:Royal maca, Vitex/Chasteberry is the most popuar natural remedy and also Dong Quai (sp?), but I think that one helps you ovulate once cycles regulate.

I agree though, talk to doctor before proceeding.
