Skip didn't answer a single fucking question thrown at him by Cuban. Played around the bush. This guy doesn't know shit about basketball technicalities. Exactly like Cuban said "Just spews some generalities off", that's all. Hate this fag...throw him out and give us someone who actually knows the game.

This is a perfect example of the media in general, whether it's sports or politics they are all clueless and believe their own rhetoric.

I completely agree with Mark. Media in general is toxic, but sports media is a joke.

You have 2 teams. They prepare, and get pumped for the game. The team that played better, wins. There is NO story line, there is NO drama..... it's just a game, played by men.

You tubricant......you are 100% correct. The problem with espn wanting it to be this way though is that people really buy what skip says as important info which it is clearly not. If every city in the country had a bruce drennan like cleveland does with "all bets are off", people like skip would still be an ass kissing team writer and not a national voice. Smart people want facts and real talk. Lesser minds want fantasy and entertainment. At the end of the day, skip only kills braincells.

Indeed, it is a perfect example of the media in general. Here's how: Skip Bayless is, to some degree, a character perpetuated by ESPN. His job is to be eccentric, opinionated, and controversial. He is not a journalist intending to hold high the ideals of objectivity and truthfulness. He is an entertainer. ESPN is profiting daily off the awareness that his controversy creates. Consumers like you who bother to pay attention to Skip Bayless are the reason people like him have jobs. Congratulations.

I used to not like Cuban cause he was outspoken, but now I like him because he's outspoken.

I understand what you guys are talking about, but Bayless was right. Lebron didn't play like himself when the Heat played the Mavs. Yes, the Mavs were able to force him to shoot, and to stop him at times, but people forget: Lebron is unblockable when he's on. He wasn't on that entire series, simple as that. Combine the lack of Lebron with the unblockable Dirk shot and of course the Mavs were going to win.
