  • Just stunning; also brought back some fond memories from my trip there last year. Now visiting vicariously through your videos!

  • Thanks very much, it is wonderful scenery and we still had a great time despite not having the best weather

  • Excellent work Austin and a pleasure to watch you caught the Highlands to perfection. Regards Phil.

  • Thanks Phil, as you probably have realised most of the shots were taken whilst waiting for the Jacobite or on the way home. I'd love sometime to just film a lot more of that wonderful scenery

  • Brought back some excellent memories of my many visits to Scotland. Well done ! ! !

  • Thank you, I'm pleased the video brought back some memories for you.

Please tell her we would like to see her stills, please?

  • Thanks Alan, bit of both really, shortening a clip here and there by a second or two and adjusting the music playback speed a little all contributed. All my own video shots, Pam was taking stills when not on brolly duty!

  • Repeat all that Bob said. Was the juxtoposition of the Skye Boat Song with the Mallaig train a happy accident or crafty conniving? Brilliant, anyway - and was the photography all yours, Austin, or do we say thank you to Pam, as well? Mind you, it looks like she was busy with the brolly anyway!! . . . . . . Alan

  • Thanks very much Bob. Most of these scenes were captured whilst awaiting the Jacobite or in the hour or so whilst the train was at Mallaig together with some filmed on the way home. They don't look too bad assembled together in the video.
