For Camelot_Love's 14 Days of A/G Prompts and ella_rose88. Prompt V-31.

This video was actually a lot more difficult to make than I anticipated. Not only did I encounter issues with Sony Vegas, but I had a difficult time figuring out how to work the timing. What's unique about this song is that it has a slow feel to it throughout, yet in the second half it is FILLED with beats. I had to find the balance between the beats and keeping the feel of the song, and I'm still not sure that I accomplished it. Hopefully you'll still enjoy.

This vid deals with the fallout from the two main obstacles that have arisen in the A/G relationship (Lancelot, and Arthur and Gwen's differing statuses, especially the latter), and the steps Arthur and Gwen take to rebuild their relationship (even if they're not aware that this is what is happening). While this vid is clearly from Arthur's PoV and deals mostly with his pain, I felt it was incredibly important to show glimpses of Gwen's. With a vid like this one it's easy to portray Gwen as the "villain," so to speak, but the truth of the matter is that they're both to blame (if one wants to claim there's blame to be had, which personally I don't - it's just unfortunate circumstances) and Gwen suffers just as much as Arthur - simply because she's the sensible one (at least when it comes to their statuses) doesn't mean her feelings for Arthur are any less than his, or that she doesn't experience just as much pain.

I hope you enjoy! And Happy Valentine's Day, everyone.

  • I think I've said it before -- you always manage to put in all the little glances, blinks, nods, and all from Arthur and Gwen. I just noticed a little "look" from Arthur that I had not noticed before -- and I have watched all the episodes a gazillion times both on dvd and youtube. Are you slowing the speed down? Whatever, you are amazing!

  • @snowcat60 Aw, thank you! I often do slow down the speed, and because I prefer to use clips that don't have them talking (unless I include the audio from the moment), when searching for clips I focus on silent communication, so to speak. =)

  • @SVEvenstar you are such an awesome video artist! I knew that scene was slower.... I kept thinking how could I not seen that before....

  • @snowcat60 <3 You are ridiculously sweet. Thank you.

  • OMG!!! Seriously wanted to cry...what can I say...Simply Breathtaking.

  • @RuinsBerries Thank you so much!
