@MsScrubs Uru lets you walk anywhere, and Myst V lets you walk anywhere.

Are the newer Mysts done in this free-roaming style too? I wouldn't enjoy playing a slideshow.

@Daveyohwhat I have all three books myself, but I haven't read any of it. If I read it and then play the games, that feeling of mystery will be gone.

@josias417 It's not very easy to understand without having read any of the comics or the novels. The comics give some 'cheap' background on the family. But the novels give a really good understanding of the characters and their once great civilization. However, the game is still playable and enjoyable while the player is in a state of confusion.
